Heating structures require an adhesive with special properties. In this case, an exceptionally strong building material such as high-temperature adhesive mortar is ideal.
The construction of various types of heating equipment requires materials that can withstand extreme external influences, such as high-temperature adhesive mortar. Its unique properties mean that it can come into direct contact, even with open flames. It is a very strong adhesive that has a single-component formulation. The tile adhesive for the fireplace, offered by the Vitcas shop, requires no pre-preparation before application to the surface. It is a fast-drying formulation that is easy to apply. It can also be used to adhere ceramic tiles to other types of heating appliances, such as cookers and smokers. The product should be applied with a serrated trowel and stored in a sealed container. Not suitable for grouting.
High-temperature adhesive mortar – a building material with exceptional properties
The tile adhesive for fireplaces offered by the Vitcas shop has very good bonding properties and, thanks to its outstanding resistance to high temperatures of up to 1,000°C, can be used for the bonding of ceramic tiles on and next to such heating structures as cookers, fireplaces, boilers, kitchens or radiators. A small layer of a preparation such as high-temperature adhesive mortar is all that is required and stone slabs, for example granite or marble, can also be fixed on it. If these elements are very heavy, it is advisable to support them mechanically until the mortar has set.
