Corner glass changes the shape of the enclosure, but panel selection should still be based on the insert requirements. Internal spaces, connections, and support of elements are important. Before cutting the sheets, show the entire construction in the drawing, not just the visible face around the glass.
Start with insert data
Check the installation instructions, required openings, and access for maintenance. Mark the door opening path and removable components. The panel should not accidentally cover details needed for inspecting the device.
Record the wall and ceiling materials, including hidden ones. The name of a heat-resistant material does not allow arbitrarily reducing the spacing required for a specific insert. The corner must be assessed from both sides of the enclosure.
CS and HT do not have identical roles
Vitcas Fireplace Construction Board CS is described, among other things, for the construction of interior corner fireplace enclosures. Selection should maintain the conditions of the specific solution as well as the joining and fastening instructions. Do not assign every possible load of a shelf or worktop to the board.
HT Fireboard has distinct properties and described surface tasks. The choice between boards should not be based solely on available thickness. Record the function of each layer and the way it carries its weight.
Inspect the joints before finishing
HB60 is used in compatible connections resistant to temperature. Choose adhesive according to the specific board, substrate, and installation documentation. One adhesive name does not describe all the details of corner-insert mounting.
Perform a trial fit and check access after installing the finish. Keep photos of edges, supports, and required spaces. During later repair, the drawings will allow distinguishing a change in the connection from movement of the insert or another structural element.
